What Is A Giclée?
A. Giclée is derived from the french verb “gicler” meaning “to spray or squirt”. In giclée printing, screens or other mechanical devices are not used and therefore a dot screen pattern is not visible. The image has all the tonalities and hues of the original work of art providing better color accuracy than other means of reproductions.
Leslie Berenson’s giclée reproductions are museum-quality fine art pieces, crafted with the utmost care and attention to detail. Each giclée is printed using archival materials and inks, ensuring lasting beauty and resistance to fading over time. (image of print)
What sets these works apart is Leslie’s personal touch: each giclée is hand-embellished with original paint, adding unique textures and highlights that make every piece truly one of a kind. These limited-edition reproductions are signed and numbered by Leslie, guaranteeing their authenticity and exclusivity, and each comes with a Certificate of Authenticity personally signed by the artist.
